A guided tour of the cloister and
the collection of religious art:
the abbey was an influential religious
centre from the 11th century on, and
is now a listed historic monument. Its
14th century cloister features wall
paintings which are amongst the most
remarkable examples of religious art
in Savoie. Adult

A guided walk on the theme of "habitat
and traditions": familiarization
with the local habitat and lifestyle.
Guided by an expert in the Savoie heritage,

Walk and via ferrata : The office of the guides of Abondance
proposes to you a programm of exits
to the meeting of most beautiful spaces
of the valley of Abondance. For the
amateurs of feelings exits "via
ferrata" are organized daily. Price Via ferrata : 25 € (begginer),
40 € (perfectionnement), material
furnish.
Activities for children :
Discover the art of illumination on
Tuesday afternoon between the 11 st
of July and the 29 th of August (except
the 15 th of August).
Discover the cloister and draw it on
Thursday afternoon between the 13 rd
of July and the 31 st of August. Price : 4 € ( afternoon tea
include)
A meal at the Tindérêts
mountain hut:
This strolls family (3h00 to go return)
at the beginning of the fabulous site
of the lake of Plagnes will allow you
to discover the alpine flora and the
landscapes of the natural reserve of
the Mount of Barn. Arrived at the refuge
of Tindérêts, you will appreciate a
break-in crust mountain dwellers. Price typical mountain meal : see
the menus proposed.
Fishing party : Initiation and or perfectionnement
with fishing in river and lake of mountain.
Framing by a guide of commercial fishing.
